About Mathew

Mathew Crowe is a member of the firm's Insurance, Maritime, and Environmental practices, maintaining a litigation-based role focused on insurance defence along with maritime and environmental matters. His experience includes personal injury, occupiers' liability, and municipal law, as well as general marine claims, carriage of goods disputes, and pollution matters. He completed his articles at the firm, and before that he summered with ICBC's Claims Legal Services, took part in a judicial externship at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Mathew represents both public and private sector clients across a wide range of insurance, marine, and environmental litigation, appearing before provincial and supreme courts in British Columbia as well as the Federal Court of Canada. In his spare time he likes camping, running, and exploring the West Coast of British Columbia.
