About Rebecca

Rebecca leads Harris & Brun's Insurance Defence and Administrative Law practice groups and co-leads the Personal Injury Practice Group. She was called to the BC Bar in 2009, joined the firm in 2015, and became one of its directors in 2019. Her practice combines personal injury, insurance defence, and administrative law matters, including judicial reviews of Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal, and Civil Resolution Tribunal decisions. She has represented injured workers before the Workers Compensation Board and has advised insurance clients, including government bodies and major auto insurers, on the province's enhanced-care auto insurance model since 2021. Rebecca has conducted multiple jury and judge-alone trials in the BC Supreme Court and has appeared at the BC Court of Appeal on liability and maritime law matters.
