About Martha

Martha Savoy is the chair of the firm's Canadian Intellectual Property Department and co-leader of its global Intellectual Property Group. Her practice focuses on trademark and copyright litigation, enforcement, and prosecution. She brings more than two decades of experience helping major brands protect and enforce their intellectual property assets across industries including food and beverage, sporting equipment, apparel and footwear, technology, and manufacturing. She has represented clients in complex matters before the Federal Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Canadian Trademarks Opposition Board.
