About Marrie
Marrie Shirzada is an associate at KMB Law and part of the firm's Corporate Commercial and Franchise Group. Her work covers business structuring, incorporations, corporate reorganizations, and the purchase and sale of privately held companies, along with drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, service contracts, and franchise documents. Within the franchise practice, she helps franchisors and franchisees prepare and review disclosure documents and franchise agreements, and assists with buying and selling franchised businesses. Before joining KMB Law, she practiced at boutique and mid-sized firms, gaining experience in corporate law, tax litigation, and professional liability, and has acted as Preferred Counsel for LAWPRO. Marrie earned her J.D. from Queen's University in 2021 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2022. She belongs to the Ontario Bar Association.
