About Mark

A partner in the Advocacy department of the firm's Ottawa office, Mark Faassen practises medical defence and health law, counselling health professionals in civil litigation, professional regulatory, and administrative law matters. He has advocated for clients before numerous administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board. He is a part-time professor with the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, teaching an upper-level seminar course on health law.
