Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionMarina Pratchett has practised construction and engineering law since being called to the bar in 1982, representing contractors, subcontractors, public owners and developers in both litigation and transactional work. Pratchett holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1981) and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2000. In addition to acting as counsel in litigation and arbitrations, Pratchett negotiates and drafts construction contracts and serves as a mediator and arbitrator. Pratchett received VRCA's Outstanding Woman in Construction Award in 2006 and belongs to the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, the Western Canada Commercial Arbitration Society and the Vancouver Regional Construction Association.
