About Marilie

Marilie Sabourin-Bouchard focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, employment and labour law, and corporate and commercial law. She has significant transactional experience, having taken part in numerous large-scale deals across a range of industries, including a financing-sector transaction of more than $30 million. She assists clients ranging from small and medium enterprises to large corporations with drafting and reviewing purchase agreements and closing documents, and supports startups in their search for financing. In labour and employment matters, she advises on employment and termination contracts, the application of labour standards, and labour relations issues. She also supports clients with contract drafting and review and with corporate law matters, including the maintenance of corporate books. Sabourin-Bouchard holds an LL.B. from Université de Montréal and a certificate in industrial relations from the same institution, and has been a member of the Young Bar of Montreal since 2022.
