About Maria

Maria Velichko became a lawyer at Wilson Vukelich in 2017 after finishing her articles there. Her practice spans estate planning matters such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate administration. She frequently partners with owner-managers and high net worth clients, along with their advisors, to craft estate plans suited to each family's structure and goals, including probate planning and arrangements for disabled beneficiaries. She belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, having earned her TEP designation in 2019 through the STEP Diploma Program. She holds a BA from Trinity College at the University of Toronto and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the bar in 2017.
