About Gordon

Gordon H. Hunter is counsel with a commercial and real estate practice spanning more than twenty-five years since his call to the bar in 1978. His commercial work includes advising on corporate and business acquisitions, reorganizations, estate planning, and the structuring of corporations, partnerships, and limited partnerships. On the real estate side, he handles commercial and residential development matters, covering acquisition, financing, and marketing of land, and he has acted for public sector clients on infrastructure projects. Gord earned his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 1976, practised in Bradford until 1988, and then established his Newmarket practice that May. He has lived in Newmarket for over three decades, alongside his wife Helen and their two children.
