About Marcus
Marcus Hinkley is a partner whose work centers on M&A, capital markets and private equity deals for Canadian and international clients. He advises on cross-border transactions, foreign investment, corporate reorganizations and general commercial matters, with particular experience in life sciences, including radiopharma, alongside technology, manufacturing and retail companies. Originally from England, he trained and worked abroad before his call to the Ontario Bar in 2014, and later practised with major international firms in Toronto. He holds an LLB from Newcastle University (2009) and completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University (2010). His work has been noted in Lexpert's Special Edition on Finance and M&A and in Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch, and he led the team recognized with the Impact Deal of the Year at the 2024 LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards.
