About M.
M. Yanni Nicolidakis-Mustafa has broad litigation experience in human rights, immigration, refugee, criminal and constitutional law, and joined Edelmann and Co. in 2025 after clerking with the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. Nicolidakis-Mustafa previously completed articles with the Community Legal Assistance Society, a public interest law firm, representing clients in human rights, workers' rights, housing and mental health law matters before administrative tribunals and the BC Supreme Court. Since joining the firm, Nicolidakis-Mustafa has represented clients in immigration detention, facing removal, and navigating the refugee claim process before the Immigration Refugee Board and the Federal Court, and was awarded the Royal Society of Canada's Justice Abella Prize in 2023.
