About Louis

Louis J. Zivot focuses on civil litigation and administrative law, including insurance defence litigation, health law, product liability, accidental death, life and disability claims, transportation, mining, and employment and labour law. He has appeared at all stages of British Columbia courts up to the Supreme Court of Canada, and has argued cases before the British Columbia Labour Board, Labour Boards of Arbitration, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Canadian Transportation Agency. Zivot was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1984 after graduating from the University of Victoria with an LLB in 1983, and holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the University of Alberta. He received a 'BV' Peer Review Ranking from Martindale-Hubbell.
