About Loreta

Loreta Zubas serves as counsel to the firm, bringing more than three decades of experience advising and litigating for both employees and employers on workplace disputes. She helps clients resolve employment matters practically, often avoiding costly litigation, and she also conducts workplace investigations for employers. Loreta has appeared before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and the Employment Insurance Commission, and has handled adjudications under the Canada Labour Code and the Employment Standards Act. She has spoken frequently on employment law for the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association. Loreta co-founded the Redwood Women's Shelter, work recognized with the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bicentennial Award of Merit. She holds degrees from McMaster University, the University of Waterloo, the University of Ottawa, and Osgoode Hall Law School.
