About Daniel
Daniel Hassell is counsel at Zubas Flett Liberatore Law LLP, where he practices in all areas of employment law and workplace human rights matters. He represents employees, contractors, and employers on issues like workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination, executive compensation, workplace investigations, and wrongful or unjust dismissal. He helps employees assess their employment contracts, including compensation structures and restrictive covenants, and helps employers develop compliant policies. Daniel appears before Ontario courts as well as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. He earned a B.A. from McGill University in 2005 and an LL.B. from the University of Waikato in 2008, and he volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's Employment Law Clinic.
