About Ishat

Ishat Reza is counsel practicing employment and human rights law, representing employees, contractors, and employers before arbitration panels and all levels of the Ontario courts. Her work covers terminations, constructive dismissals, discrimination and harassment claims, and executive compensation, and she also conducts workplace investigations and organizational reviews and acts as a neutral mediator. Ishat holds law degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University, a Master of Arts from Harvard University, and an honours B.A. from the University of Toronto, and she completed a mediation training program at Harvard Law School. She began her career at a large Bay Street firm and has since worked in the public and private sectors in Canada and the UK, including a stint at the OECD in Paris. Ishat has volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario's legal clinic and mentors law students on navigating the profession.
