About Liza

Liza Leshchynska is an associate at Lenczner Slaght, where she summered and articled and gained experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, class actions, and construction disputes. She holds a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, during which she volunteered with the Queen's Prison Law Clinic assisting inmates with disciplinary and parole matters, and worked as a student clerk for justices of the Kingston Superior Court of Justice on criminal and civil files. In her first year she won course prizes in tort and property law along with the Dean's Bronze Scholar Award. Before law school, Liza completed a business administration degree with distinction at Wilfrid Laurier University, including co-op placements in operations, wealth management, and venture capital. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
