About Linette
Linette King maintains a broad litigation practice covering professional negligence claims against regulated health professionals, engineers, architects, builders, and developers, along with personal injury matters such as slip and falls and motor vehicle accidents, defamation, class actions, human rights claims, and historical sex abuse cases. She represents institutional clients including schools, school boards, condominium corporations, churches, long-term care organizations, and non-profits, and has argued cases in Small Claims Court, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and before various administrative and regulatory tribunals. Before joining her current firm, Linette worked at a national law firm focused on regulatory prosecutions, and also practised at a Toronto legal clinic on tenant-side housing litigation, including a placement as an onsite lawyer with St. Michael's Hospital's Health Justice Program.
