About Lia

Lia Bruschetta practises commercial litigation and disputes involving construction and complex corporate matters for major Canadian and international companies. Her work centres on litigation, arbitration and mediation of disputes arising from construction and infrastructure projects, covering contract and specification claims, construction liens, trust and bonding disputes, delay claims, tendering issues and negligence claims. She represented the City of Toronto in multi-party litigation connected to the Union Station revitalization project, defended Bondfield Construction Company in claims tied to the Sheridan College Hazel McCallion campus expansion, and helped Estée Lauder obtain relief in an oppression claim relating to its minority stake in Deciem Beauty Group. Lia coordinates Osler's Pro Bono Ontario volunteer program and sits on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's civil litigation section.
