About Len

Len Fishman has practised family law in Manitoba for roughly 50 years. He lectured and mentored law students in the Clinical Family Law course at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law for over ten years and co-headed the Family Law section of the Law Society's Bar Admissions Program for more than a decade. He currently lectures in the Intermediate Family Law Course for the Community Legal Education Association and, together with Noah Fishman, serves as counsel to Jewish Child and Family Service in child welfare proceedings. Len has argued cases before the Manitoba Court of King's Bench, the Court of Appeal of Manitoba, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has served on various Manitoba Bar Association and court committees.
