About Cynthia

Cynthia (Cindy) Lazar has practiced in labour and employment law since being called to the Manitoba Bar in 1995, with additional work in human rights, privacy, defamation and accessibility. She earned her LL.B. and B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Manitoba, and holds the AWI-CH designation from the Association of Workplace Investigators. Cynthia taught Labour and Employment Relations at the Asper School of Business for nine semesters and is a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail's Nine to Five column. She serves on the Winnipeg Board of Jewish Education and has volunteered extensively with the National Council of Jewish Women of Canada.
