About Victor

Victor Bargen is a partner at Bargen Brown Fishman LLP who represents clients throughout Western Canada and Ontario, with his primary practice based in Manitoba. He has appeared before administrative tribunals and all levels of court, including the Manitoba Court of King's Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court. Victor earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1991, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1992. His practice areas include civil litigation, family law, corporate and commercial matters, and wills and estates, and he speaks German in addition to English. Before law, Victor worked as a social worker in the Northwest Territories, and he is a former president of the Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club and has performed in local musical theatre productions.
