About Lawrence

Lawrence Pinsky has practiced family law for over 27 years, known for strategic planning on parenting, wealth preservation, complex property division, and support matters, along with litigation when necessary. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1993 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba and his B.A. from the University of Winnipeg. Lawrence is a founder and first President of FAMLI, the Family Arbitration Mediation Legal Institute, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, and has advocated for reforms including amendments to the Divorce Act and Manitoba's Arbitration Act. He also serves as a Human Rights Adjudicator in Manitoba and has been selected for The Best Lawyers™ in Canada in Family Law since 2013.
