About Laurie

Laurie Tymchuk is a founding partner of Richmond Tymchuk Family Law LLP and has practised family law since 2007. Her results-oriented approach favours negotiation and other dispute-resolution methods to keep cases out of court, though she is an experienced litigator prepared to represent clients at all levels of court in Alberta. She also works as a family law mediator and arbitrator. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction, also from the University of Alberta. She has appeared in a number of reported Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of King's Bench decisions.
