About Sarah
Sarah Chiu practises in all areas of tax law and holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary, where she now serves as a sessional instructor. Before entering law, she worked at a major Calgary oil and gas company, then served as a law clerk to the justices of the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and articled with a national firm before joining Felesky Flynn in 2010. As partner in Calgary, she leads a team advising on matters ranging from large corporate restructurings to tax planning for high-net-worth families. She is active with the CBA/CPA Joint Committee, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association, and received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her work chairing the board of Making Changes Employment Association of Alberta.
