About Laura
Laura Mischuk was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology with Great Distinction before earning her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2015 and being called to the bar in 2016. She worked at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary for three summers during her undergraduate studies, gaining early exposure to the criminal justice system. She practices exclusively in criminal defence and family law, regularly appearing before Saskatchewan's Provincial Court, Court of King's Bench, and Court of Appeal, and travels to remote northern communities to represent clients. Her family law work includes parenting, child support, property division, and spousal support matters, both in court and through negotiated agreements.
