About Kate
Kate Crisp practises family law exclusively from McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office, joining as a senior associate in 2020 and becoming partner in 2023. She has appeared as counsel in Saskatchewan's Provincial Court, Court of King's Bench, and Court of Appeal, and focuses on negotiating out-of-court settlements alongside prenuptial, cohabitation, and separation agreements. She volunteers with CLASSIC, sits on the editorial board for BarNotes, and was nominated for the Pro Bono Service Award in 2012. Kate earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 2005 and her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law in 2009, and was selected for The Best Lawyers in Canada 2026 for Family Law.
