About Laura

Laura joined Thomas Gold Pettingill in 2025. After her 2020 call to the Ontario bar, she began her career at a personal injury firm in Barrie before spending several years handling plaintiff-side personal injury, insurance defence and class action work at a well-known downtown Toronto boutique. In law school she took part in year-long Pro Bono Students Canada projects, and she has appeared before all levels of Ontario court as well as various tribunals. She has been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch every year since 2022. Laura holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and an honours B.A. in Criminology and Law and Society, with distinction, from Wilfrid Laurier University.
