About Christina

Christina Polano serves as managing partner at Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP, where she has practised insurance and civil litigation since 2008. Before joining the firm, she spent six years handling insurance, commercial and civil litigation matters at a prominent Bay Street firm. Her practice centers on defending negligence claims, including cases involving occupiers' liability, professional negligence, and institutional sexual abuse allegations. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal, and has served as first chair in three Superior Court trials. Christina earned her LLB from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2002. She also completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Course at Osgoode Hall in 2005.
