About Laura
Laura Balagus is a lawyer at Pitblado Law building a corporate and commercial practice, called to the Manitoba Bar in 2023. She earned her J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at the University of Toronto in 2014. During law school, she served as an externship student with the Manitoba Law Reform Commission and took part in the clerkship program at the Court of King's Bench. Balagus is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Manitoba Bar Association, and received several academic prizes in her third year of law, including the Pauline & Samuel Zinman Prize and the Law Society Prize.
