About Kristy
Kristy Warren practises across all areas of family law, including parenting disputes, national and international child abduction, support, and property division, and draws on earlier commercial litigation experience to handle related corporate and tax issues. As Epstein Cole's Knowledge Management and Practice Support lawyer, she advises the firm's lawyers on complex legal questions and helps shape trial and appeal strategy. She is an Associate Editor of the Reports of Family Law and contributes to the weekly newsletter This Week in Family Law. Kristy was called to the Ontario bar in 2016 after earning her JD from the University of Toronto and a BA Honours from Western University, and she has been named a 2026 Best Lawyers One to Watch in Family Law. She has volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario's legal advice hotline and small claims duty counsel program, and with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project.
