About Jivanya
Jivanya Reddy practises family law at Unified LLP. Born in South Africa, she immigrated to Canada with her parents in 2005 and settled in Calgary, where she earned a diploma in Radio Television Broadcast News from SAIT before completing a Bachelor of Communication Studies at the University of Calgary. She went on to earn her law degree at the University of Exeter in England, graduating in 2017, and then articled as a student-at-law at Clark and Associates in Calgary. In August 2021, she was called to the Alberta Bar, and she has practised family law since 2018 in roles as both a legal assistant and an associate lawyer. She remains active in community volunteering, including work with the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth and the World Refugee Committee.
