About Kristen

Kristen Godwin-Stewart began her career at the firm as a law clerk, then an articling student, and returned as an associate lawyer in 2021 after practicing in Ottawa; she became a partner in July 2025. Her practice focuses on real estate, family law, wills and estates, and corporate/business matters. She holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology and Psychology from Queen's University and an LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh, and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2020. She is a member of the Rural Research Network Ethics Board at Winchester District Memorial Hospital and of the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry, Leeds & Grenville, and County of Carleton law associations, and has co-authored papers on wills and estates with Eldon Horner.
