About Jane

Jane Van Moorsel joined the firm as a placement student in January 2024 and became an associate lawyer following her call to the bar in October 2024. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, family law, real estate, and wills and estates. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University and her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University, where she was a student caseworker on Landlord and Tenant Board matters and a research assistant studying wills and estates in an Indigenous context. She previously sat on the board of Vesta Women's Recovery House in Ottawa.
