About Katherine

Katherine (Kat) Brydges is a litigator at West Legal specializing in commercial and civil litigation. She was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where she completed an undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce with honours and assisted a business law professor with doctoral research on cloud computing taxation, before moving to Calgary to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law. She has appeared in the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench on highly contentious matters, while favouring resolutions outside the courtroom where possible.
