About Kfir

Kfir Abutbul is a partner who advises private equity firms, credit funds, and institutional investors on capital solutions across the capital structure, with particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sector. He works with clients through the full lifecycle of private capital deployment, from initial structuring and acquisition to workouts, restructurings, and exits, and has experience with non-traditional instruments such as preferred equity, convertible securities, and hybrid financing. His energy transition work covers investments in power generation, battery and storage technology, critical minerals, and decarbonization infrastructure across the U.S., Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Kfir is admitted to practice in New York and Texas and is registered as a foreign lawyer in England and Wales. He holds a JD from Columbia Law School and an LLB from University College London.
