About Kelly

Kelly Slade-Kerr is a partner at HHBG Lawyers, advising clients on all aspects of employment law with a focus on wrongful dismissals, discrimination, and harassment cases, as well as reviewing and negotiating severance packages and employment offers. She also advises unionized employees on labour relations matters such as collective agreement interpretation and the duty of fair representation, and has represented clients before BC courts, boards of arbitration, and tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal and the Labour Relations Board. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 1995, then completed her law degree at the University of Toronto on an entrance scholarship before articling and practising with a large national firm's labour and employment group, and was called to the bar in 1999. She joined HHBG Lawyers in 2004 and served as a New Westminster School Board trustee from 2014 to 2018.
