About Keith

Keith MacMaster is an associate at Weldon McInnis practising corporate and commercial law, bankruptcy and insolvency, and commercial real estate, with experience in share and asset transactions, financial services, and complex contractual arrangements. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 2003 and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in 2007, later completing a Doctorate in Laws. Keith has practised law in both Nova Scotia and Ontario and has also worked as a licensed financial planner for law firms and financial institutions. He joined Weldon McInnis in 2023 and teaches part time at the Schulich School of Law, having published articles on topics including sustainable investing and seabed mining.
