About Kathleen
Kathleen Healey completed her Bachelor of Laws at Dalhousie University and a Master of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School. She held roles of increasing responsibility with Newfoundland and Labrador's Department of Justice, including Crown Attorney, Senior Crown Attorney and Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, and prosecuted high-profile crimes across the province, including abuse cases connected to Mount Cashel and other institutions and foster homes, as well as domestic violence and murder cases. Before joining Budden Hiscock Lawyers she was Legal Counsel on the Anti-Organized Crime Team for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada in Ontario, appearing as lead prosecutor in cases involving organized crime, money laundering and terrorism. Her practice at Budden Hiscock Lawyers focuses on civil litigation and representing survivors of abuse and violence.
