About Geoff
Geoff Budden is a civil litigator with a record of leading complex cases involving governments and other large institutions. In 2013 he was part of the international legal team that obtained $16.5 million in compensation for people molested as children by the Christian Brothers of Ireland. Since 2018 he has represented the Muskrat Falls Concerned Citizens Coalition at the Muskrat Falls Inquiry. He resides in St. John's and has volunteered with the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Association, the St. John's Regional Library Board, and the Avalon East School Board. He received the honorary title of King's Counsel in January 2022.
