About Katherine
Katherine Kowalchuk has practised law in Alberta since 2003 and joined Getz Collins & Associates in June 2020 after working at national and regional firms and operating her own law firm from 2010 to 2017. She practises exclusively in family law, including divorce, separation agreements, child and spousal support, custody and access, property division, and cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and also provides family law mediation services. She has appeared in the Court of King's Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Provincial Court, though she prefers to settle matters through mediation and arbitration, and works out of both the Calgary and Strathmore offices.
