About Kateryna

Kateryna Gorbatenko is a legal strategist at MD Law Group whose background spans civil litigation, employment law and complex contractual disputes across multiple jurisdictions. She began her career in international jurisdictions, advising on commercial agreements, shareholder matters, litigation and labour disputes across both civil law and common law systems. Since moving into the Canadian legal market she has focused on civil litigation and employment law, including wrongful and constructive dismissal and contractual disputes, and has been involved in drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating with distinction, and a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian, with working proficiency in French.
