About Anita

Anita Dorczak holds an LL.B. and a Ph.D. in comparative literature and semiotics, both completed in 1990, and built a law practice primarily in family law, criminal law, and personal injury over the following fifteen years. Dissatisfied with the adversarial process, Dorczak shifted focus toward mediation and dispute resolution, studying therapeutic jurisprudence, collaborative law, elder mediation, and mindfulness-based approaches to conflict. The practice today centres on marital mediation, elder mediation, unbundled family dispute resolution, personal injury matters, and notarial services. Appointments are available by phone, Zoom, and in person, including evening and weekend bookings by prior arrangement.
