About Kat

Kat is an associate at Kastner Ko LLP practicing employment, labour, civil litigation, human rights, and state accountability law. They help both employees and employers navigate workplace issues, including wrongful dismissal, harassment, and human rights claims. Before joining the firm, Kat served as litigation counsel with Ontario's Ministry of Labour, handling regulatory prosecutions, participating in coroner's inquests, and appearing before the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Kat also worked as counsel with Tribunals Ontario, representing several tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, in judicial reviews and statutory appeals. Kat holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master's in Human Geography from the University of Toronto.
