About Karla
Karla Ledesma was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2026 and will return to the firm as a lawyer in February 2027. She first joined as a summer student in 2024 and articled with the firm through 2025 and 2026. Karla completed her J.D. at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she served as co-president of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association's Lincoln Alexander Chapter, co-led the Orientation Committee for the incoming class, and worked as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing. Before law school she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, also from Toronto Metropolitan University. Karla speaks English and Spanish and, outside of work, enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, and travelling.
