About Janet
Janet De Vita is Co-Managing Partner at Watson Goepel and leads the Personal Injury Group, practising in British Columbia and Alberta. She represents clients in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, occupiers' liability claims, and survivors of sexual assault and institutional abuse, and has appeared before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, Supreme Court Chambers, and the Court of Appeal of British Columbia. Janet earned her LL.B. from the University of Victoria in 2003 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2004 and Alberta in 2024. She mentors female lawyers through the CBA's Women Lawyers Forum.
