About Karen
Karen Vigmond is a Partner at Oatley Vigmond who joined the firm as an associate in 2013. A Barrie native, she earned her BA from Queen's University and her Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, and she articled at a well-known Toronto personal injury firm before her call to the bar in January 2013. Karen's practice focuses on personal injury law, particularly medical malpractice, along with product liability, occupiers' liability, motor vehicle accidents, and accident benefits claims. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for insurance law and personal injury litigation since 2022. Karen is involved with Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, where she sits on the Board of Directors and serves as vice-chair, and she has volunteered with the Alzheimer's Society and Lawyers Feed the Hungry.
