Insurance LawAdam has spent 25 years advocating for injured clients and is the managing partner at Oatley Vigmond. As a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation, he has appeared at all levels of court and before numerous tribunals in Ontario. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1996 and his law degree from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2000, then practised at a Toronto litigation firm before joining Oatley Vigmond in 2005. His practice covers medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents, occupiers' liability, and other insurance disputes, drawing on early experience representing physicians. In Vokes Estate v. Palmer, a case that set a new precedent for claims by children who lose a parent, Adam represented the family of a mother killed alongside her unborn child in a collision. Adam authors and updates the Personal Injury Practice Manual and co-wrote chapters of a guide to motor vehicle injury cases, and he is a past president of the Simcoe County Law Association.
