Business & Corporate LawJohn Ferris is a graduate of the University of Guelph and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, and he was called to the bar in 1975. His general practice covers real estate, mortgages, family law, wills, estates, corporations, municipal and land use matters, construction liens, and civil litigation. He earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from York University in 2002 and a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution, also from York University, in 2004. John is a qualified mediator and arbitrator, a trainer of collaborative lawyers, and an active member of the Collaborative Family Law Group of Grey-Bruce, and he has completed mediation and conflict coaching training through Peacemaker's Ministries. He belongs to the Christian Legal Fellowship and the ADR Institute of Ontario and provides faith-based mediation and conflict coaching to churches and religious groups.
