About Julian
Julian Thomas is a partner at Thomas & Watson LLP, born in Wales and raised in Grimsby, Ontario. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo, then obtained law degrees from both the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and has practised exclusively in plaintiff personal injury and insurance defence litigation since then, representing motor vehicle accident and slip and fall victims in accident benefits and pain and suffering claims. He also represented insurance company clients for roughly 18 years, first in Toronto and then for almost 15 years at a large Hamilton litigation firm, where he was a partner for 11 years. Since January 2019, he has worked exclusively in plaintiff personal injury, focusing primarily on motor vehicle accident victims. He is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, the Hamilton Lawyer's Club, and the Hamilton-Medical Legal Society, and is a former president of the Hamilton Lawyer's Club and a former member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
