About Juan

Juan Echavarria became an associate at Wray James LLP in 2020 after gaining corporate and commercial law experience at a large full-service Toronto firm. Earlier in his career he worked as a lawyer and articling student at a legal clinic, practicing employment law and appearing before Small Claims Court, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. He earned his Juris Doctor from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2017 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. Fluent in Spanish, Juan once hosted a radio show discussing employment and human rights trends affecting diverse communities, and he has led legal workshops in both English and Spanish on employment rights.
